DPS Surajkund successfully hosted a Parent-Teacher Partnership Meeting, creating an atmosphere of enthusiasm and collaboration. Parents had the opportunity to view their children’s “Up in The Space” projects, showcasing their hard work and creativity. Throughout the month, students engaged in a comprehensive “Space” theme across all subjects, exploring concepts like sequencing, size comparisons in math, and space-related vocabulary.
Students eagerly explained their projects to their parents, demonstrating their newfound knowledge and making Project Day more meaningful. Parents walked through the corridor to explore the impressive displays, including art projects like sponge-dabbed planets, spaceship models crafted from recyclable materials, and collaborative creations of astronauts in pottery, done by the Prep and Grade 1 students. This hands-on learning experience enabled the children to grasp the otherwise complex concept of space in an accessible and engaging manner.
Parents expressed their appreciation by writing notes on specially crafted spaceship cutouts about the project, reflecting their happiness and pride in their children’s achievements. Overall Project Day was a day of celebrating the learning of our proud Dipsites.
