DPS Surajkund, a foundational school of DPS Greater Faridabad celebrated the Founder’s Day of their parent institution on 20th November 2022.The aim of the event was to reach out to the larger community giving them a rare opportunity to well-designed activities around good health, sustainability, and family bonding. In the activity- Pollution Pollution-Tree is the Solution, families planted Ashoka saplings which were then planted on school premises in the child’s name. Fifty Ashoka saplings were donated to the Estate Manager, Charmwood Village. The idea of sustainability was extended in the form of plant-able notebooks which were given to the children as takeaways.
