Learning becomes truly meaningful when children not only acquire knowledge but also create memories, build relationships, and grow into confident individuals. At DPS Surajkund, we believe in celebrating every milestone of our young learners, nurturing their journey with love, values, and joyful experiences.
To mark this special milestone, a heartwarming Graduation Ceremony – “Udaan” was organised on 18th March 2026 for the students of Grade II. The event symbolised growth, new beginnings, and the beautiful journey of learning that the children have experienced over the years.
The celebration began with a warm, traditional tilak ceremony, welcoming the young graduates and making them feel honoured and special. This was followed by engaging classroom energisers, where students joyfully participated, setting a lively and cheerful tone for the day.
A highlight of the celebration was a nostalgic presentation showcasing memories from Preparatory to Grade II. The visual journey beautifully captured the children’s growth, achievements, and cherished classroom moments, leaving everyone filled with pride and emotion.
Adding to the celebration, Grade I students presented a special assembly, which was attended by the entire school, making the occasion even more significant and memorable. The assembly beautifully expressed love, admiration, and best wishes for the graduating students. The programme continued with delightful dance and music performances, bringing enthusiasm and vibrancy to the occasion.
The much-awaited Titles and Sash Conferring Ceremony recognised each child’s unique qualities, making every student feel valued and celebrated. The Headmistress, Ms. Supriya Bakshi, addressed the gathering, sharing inspiring words and blessings. She encouraged students to step forward with confidence and continue their learning journey with determination and joy.
The celebration concluded joyfully with fun games and a heart-touching activity, where friends and teachers wrote heartfelt messages on the students’ shirts, creating a lasting keepsake filled with love and memories.
The event truly reflected the spirit of celebration, growth, and togetherness, making “Udaan” a beautiful and memorable milestone in the lives of our young learners.
