“Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn.”
DPS Surajkund proudly participated in Adhyayan Utsav 2025 held at DPS Greater Faridabad, providing a meaningful platform for students to showcase their learning through enquiry, exploration, and expression developed during their project work. The event aimed to nurture confidence, curiosity, communication, and collaborative learning among students, while also offering parents an insightful glimpse into classroom learning beyond textbooks.
The exhibition featured a diverse range of student-led enquiry projects created through Project-Based Learning. Topics such as oceans, outer space, prehistoric life, neighbourhood studies, and transportation systems were brought to life through models, exhibits, and role-plays. Each presentation reflected thorough research, creativity, and strong conceptual understanding, demonstrating how academic learning connects to real-world contexts.
Students enthusiastically assumed the roles of speakers, guides, and presenters. With clarity and confidence, they explained concepts, answered questions, and shared information in their own words. Their expressive communication, effective use of vocabulary, and warm interaction with visitors highlighted significant growth in their communication skills. Senior students further enriched the experience by mentoring younger learners, fostering leadership, teamwork, and a sense of responsibility.
Adhyayan Utsav 2025 was not merely an exhibition but a vibrant celebration of active learning, independent thinking, and joyful discovery. The event reflected the school’s commitment to nurturing confident learners with inquisitive minds and strong values, standing as a true testament to the power of experiential learning where education extends beyond the classroom and comes alive in every child’s journey.
