As part of the PBL Showcase, the young learners of BV II at DPS Surajkund confidently presented their theme “Spactacular Journey”, giving the audience an exciting glimpse into space.
The journey began with a planet trail, where students introduced each planet and shared interesting facts. This was followed by a role play of the Sun and Earth, clearly depicting the concepts of rotation and revolution.
Students then explored the moon’s surface, discussed Neil Armstrong, and performed a lively rocket countdown, creating an atmosphere reminiscent of a real space launch. The concept of day and night was explained through model demonstration showing Earth’s rotation.
The showcase concluded with students presenting their project files filled with facts, drawings, and learning reflections related to space.
This PBL showcase not only highlighted their knowledge but also enhanced their skills in communication, presentation, collaboration, and confidence, perfectly reflecting the experiential and child-centric learning ethos at DPS Surajkund.
