“Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn.” – Benjamin Franklin
The students of Balvatika III embarked on an enriching journey through the Project-Based Learning (PBL) theme titled “Dino Adventure.” This engaging project provided our young learners with an exciting platform to explore the fascinating world of dinosaurs through inquiry, creativity, and collaboration.
Throughout this interdisciplinary experience, the children developed a comprehensive understanding of these prehistoric creatures—their physical features, habitats, diets, and eventual extinction—while making meaningful connections across various learning domains, including languages, numeracy, art, music, and science. The project also encouraged reflection on the causes of extinction and the etymology of related vocabulary, thereby deepening conceptual understanding.
The PBL approach fostered curiosity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills as students engaged in hands-on explorations, creative expression, and collaborative activities with great enthusiasm. Moreover, the process nurtured essential social-emotional skills, such as teamwork, patience, and a sense of responsibility.
The culmination of this learning journey was the Project Showcase held on October 16, 2025, where the children proudly presented their projects to their parents. It was a heart-warming experience to witness the young learners confidently articulate their knowledge and share their learning experiences.
Through Dino Adventure, learning transcended the boundaries of the classroom—transforming knowledge into meaningful experiences and curiosity into a lifelong love for learning.
