The first day of the new academic session was truly something special. Our little ones walked into school with wide eyes, curious hearts, and a mix of excitement and nervous energy. There was magic in the air—made all the more special by the warm smiles that welcomed them at the gate.
Right at the entrance, a lively play zone had been set up to ease those first-day jitters. Children skipped along colourful ladders, hopped inside vibrant circles, and crisscrossed between cones in a cheerful little obstacle course. Giggles filled the morning air as they embraced the fun right from the start. Each childTwas then greeted with a gentle chandan tilak and a soft shower of marigold petals—marking a beautiful, traditional welcome into this new journey.
Parents and children took their first photos of the year under a bright balloon arch labelled “First Day,” and a sweet little photo booth nearby helped capture the joy and excitement in perfect frames.
As they moved into the school building, a day full of surprises and joy awaited them. Classrooms and activity rooms were buzzing with music, singing, and dance—each session carefully planned to help the children feel at ease, find their rhythm, and just have fun. There were games to enjoy, tattoos to show off on tiny hands, and above all, plenty of room to laugh, move and settle in.
The highlight of the day? A surprise visit from a magical unicorn character! The children’s eyes lit up with pure wonder as they ran to meet it. There were warm hugs, sweet treats, and lots of excited little voices asking, “Can we take one more photo?”
Later, a special assembly brought everyone together. The teachers had something heartfelt prepared—a performance full of dance and song, all just to make the children feel welcomed, loved, and celebrated. And they did. The school was filled with energy and smiles, and for many children, it was their first memory of just how fun and caring school can be.
In the calm of circle time, another lovely moment unfolded. Teachers read aloud the beautiful little notes that parents had written for their children during Orientation Day—thoughtful messages that had been hung like leaves on a handmade tree installation in the reception area. As the children listened, their faces lit up with surprise and pride, knowing that their parent had left a special message just for them. It was a moment of quiet connection—soft, emotional, and unforgettable.
To make the day even more memorable, the teachers had lovingly prepared thoughtful little takeaways—like badges, pencil toppers, and photo frames for each child to take home. These weren’t just gifts—they were a warm reminder that someone had been thinking about them long before they walked through the school gate.
And of course, the day wouldn’t have been complete without some creativity. In their classrooms, children dived into their very first school crafts— like colourful bookmarks, joyful scribbles, and self-portraits that told the story of “This is me!” It was their way of saying, “I’m here, and I belong.”
With parents close by, teachers ready with open arms, and the school filled with kindness and colour, the first day was not just a start—it was a celebration of every little heart that walked through the door. A beautiful beginning to a joyful year ahead.
