“Let the colours of joy paint the minds of our little learners!”
At DPS Surajkund, every colour is more than a shade — it is a story, an emotion, and a discovery. This August, Blue Colour Week unfolded as a magical journey for our tiny tots. From 19th to 22nd August 2025, classrooms turned into a sea of blue as children dived into joyful, colour-themed experiences that nurtured creativity, curiosity, and sensory exploration.
The week was thoughtfully designed with engaging, hands-on activities. It began with Blue Yum Yum Day, where little ones relished delicious blue treats — from juicy blueberries to sparkling blue gems — filling the day with laughter and delight. On Show & Tell – My Blue Treasure Day, children proudly showcased their favourite blue objects from home, speaking confidently about them and strengthening both self-expression and vocabulary.
The most awaited event, the Splish Splash Blue Bash, brought endless giggles as tiny feet danced in water play. Dressed in vibrant shades of blue, children enjoyed playful splashes and a cheerful blue-themed picnic. The celebration concluded with a charming Blue Dress-Up Parade, where our little stars twirled and walked with pride in their dazzling blue attire.
Adding to the excitement, the week also included blue clay modeling, object-sorting games, storytelling sessions, music and movement, and creative craft activities. Each experience was carefully woven into our play-based learning framework, ensuring that joy and learning went hand in hand.
The sparkle in their eyes, the laughter echoing through the corridors, and the happiness of shared experiences made Blue Colour Week a vibrant celebration — one that turned the simple colour blue into a world of wonder, learning, and lasting memories.
