As they walked through the supermarket aisles, the students enthusiastically identified and named different fruits and vegetables, feeling delighted to see them all displayed together. Their excitement was evident as they confidently recognized and recalled the names.
To showcase their understanding of healthy eating, the children actively participated in a fun activity where they gave thumbs-up for healthy foods and thumbs-down for unhealthy choices. This simple yet meaningful exercise reinforced the importance of making right food choices in daily life. The highlight of the visit was when the young shoppers bought their favourite fruits—apples, pears, and bananas—proudly making a healthy choice. The entire experience proved to be fun-filled, interactive, and enriching.
To make learning more experiential and joyful, the students of BV II were taken on an exciting Supermarket Visit. The objective of this activity was to help children explore food groups in a real-life setting and connect their classroom learning with everyday experiences.
