Halloween is celebrated globally as a vibrant blend of history, tradition, and imagination that brings people together across cultures. What began centuries ago as a festival marking the end of harvest and the beginning of winter has evolved into a joyful, community-centered celebration enjoyed by families and children worldwide. Today, Halloween unites us through shared experiences—dressing up in creative costumes, carving pumpkins, exchanging treats, and celebrating the magic of stories and folklore. It encourages imagination, togetherness, and a spirit of fun that transcends geographical boundaries.
Halloween came alive at DPS Surajkund on October 31,2025 as our little ghosts, goblins, and magical characters gathered for a delightful and spirited celebration. The campus was filled with excitement, creativity, and festive fun as students and staff embraced the spooky season with enthusiasm.
Children arrived dressed in a wide range of imaginative costumes—from cheerful pumpkins and playful skeletons to charming fairies and eerie vampires. Their confidence and joy were evident as they walked around proudly, displaying their creative outfits and spreading festive cheer.
The celebrations began with a vibrant fancy dress parade, giving every child an opportunity to present their Halloween attire. Teachers were thoroughly impressed by the creativity and attention to detail, as many students enhanced their looks with props, makeup, and accessories that truly brought their characters to life.
As the day unfolded, students engaged in a series of Halloween-themed activities that kept them entertained throughout. The specially decorated corners of the school were filled with exciting games which children enjoyed with energy and laughter.
No Halloween festivity is complete without treats, and our young ones enjoyed collecting candies and goodies placed at various spots across the school. Moving through the spooky decorations and themed corners, children were thrilled by the surprises that awaited them at every turn.
Beyond the costumes and sweets, the DPS Surajkund Halloween celebration focused on creating joyful memories. With its imaginative decorations, engaging activities, and enthusiastic participation, the event left a lasting impression on students and teachers alike.
