At DPS Surajkund, we firmly believe that education extends far beyond the walls of traditional classrooms. It encompasses every facet of life, including the joyous celebrations of festivals.
Recently, DPS Surajkund was buzzing with excitement as we commemorated Vasant Panchami, a festival dedicated to honouring Goddess Saraswati and welcoming the advent of the spring season.
Our youngest learners adorned themselves in the radiant shades of yellow, symbolizing the spirit of the festival. The day commenced with a ceremonial lighting of the lamp of knowledge and wisdom, invoking the blessings of Goddess Saraswati, joined by parents and children of the Pre-Nursery class. These eager learners took centre stage, leading the assembly with grace and enthusiasm. They also shared yellow treats with their peers and teachers, fostering a sense of camaraderie and joy.
Every classroom was buzzing with myriad activities which were organized to engage students in the significance of the day. Dressed in cheerful yellow attire, both students and teachers delved into discussions about the importance of Vasant Panchami, its association with the blooming mustard flowers, and the rejuvenating arrival of spring.
